About This Role
Pre-Prep Teacher
Rugby School, in collaboration with Khai Sang Corporation, is excited to announce the search for a Pre-Prep Teacher to become a member of the founding team at a new school in Hanoi, set to open in September 2026. This is a unique chance to help establish a school that aims to redefine Pre-Prep education standards in Southeast Asia.
The Pre-Prep will feature its own dedicated building, serving children from Early Years 1 (ages 3-4) to Year 2 (ages 6-7). Students in Year 3 and beyond will transition to the Prep & Senior School, which is scheduled to open in September 2027, located just around 500 meters away.
Students will greatly benefit from the innovative design of the building, specifically tailored to meet the learning needs of early years children. With support from Rugby School’s Global team, the facility will provide an exceptional environment for educators to guide students on their educational journeys.
This role presents an exciting opportunity to join the founding teaching team of what is poised to become a premier educational institution in Vietnam.
We offer a highly competitive salary, along with flights and accommodation.
For further details and application instructions, please refer to the Job Description.
Closing Date: 15th March 2026
Expected Start Date: 1st August 2026
Applications will be reviewed as they arrive, and we retain the right to make an appointment prior to the closing date.
Please Note
The School is dedicated to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to uphold this commitment.
Candidates will be required to complete child protection screening relevant to the position, including checks with previous employers and the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS).
Under UK law, it is an offense to apply for this role if you are barred from engaging in regulated activity concerning children.
Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion are fundamental components of our core principle that ‘the Whole Person is the Whole point’.
