About This Role

GEMS Royal Dubai School is a lively, prestigious British curriculum institution currently serving students from FS1 to Year 8. We are excited to announce our expansion to Year 9 in September 2026, with a well-defined growth strategy extending to Year 13. As we embark on this thrilling growth journey, we are pleased to introduce a brand-new, state-of-the-art secondary campus set to open in September 2026. This cutting-edge facility will further elevate the exceptional education we provide across our two sites.

We are in search of a passionate and dynamic Computing Teacher to join our faculty in September 2026. While experience in teaching Design Technology at Key Stages 2 and 3 is preferred, the ideal candidate will be self-driven, possess a proven ability to elevate educational standards, and demonstrate a steadfast commitment to achieving excellence for all students. This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious educator eager to influence children's learning positively while upholding the Royal Standard.

Job Purpose

The role involves teaching Computing as a subject specialist across Key Stages 2 and 3, with prospects of expanding into Key Stages 4 and 5. The aim is to deliver an outstanding, holistic, and engaging learning experience that fosters exceptional outcomes for all students.

Key Responsibilities


• Exhibit a strong commitment to excellence for each learner
• Maintain robust subject knowledge of the Computing curriculum across Key Stages 2, 3, and 4, with the capacity to contribute to Key Stage 5, along with current familiarity with examination boards and pathways
• Provide consistently high-quality teaching and learning, collaborating with colleagues and exchanging best practices
• Utilize student data effectively to tailor learning experiences and enhance progress
• Uphold a high-performance mindset, remaining reflective, solution-oriented, and proactive
• Infuse creativity, enthusiasm, and innovation into teaching and learning
• Adhere to the highest safeguarding standards while supporting students' personal and social development
• Foster positive, professional relationships with colleagues, students, and parents
• Show aspiration to work in a world-class educational environment with genuine career development opportunities
• Contribute positively to the broader school community through extracurricular initiatives and community events
• Actively engage in ongoing professional growth

Compensation
