We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Teacher of Key Stage 3 Mathematics to join our team in August 2026, with a background in international or UK-based curricula.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES



Deliver engaging and effective Mathematics lessons at Key Stage 3, in accordance with the school's curriculum framework.


Design and implement dynamic lessons that address varied learning needs, utilizing contemporary teaching strategies and technology.


Assess student progress through both formative and summative evaluations, maintaining high academic standards.


Provide pastoral care, fostering student well-being and working in partnership with the school's well-being team.


Encourage student participation in extracurricular activities, mathematics clubs, and enrichment programs.


Contribute to curriculum development and initiatives for school improvement.


Create a positive classroom atmosphere with high expectations for behavior and discipline.


Collaborate with fellow staff to share effective practices and support professional development objectives.


Engage with parents and stakeholders through regular updates on student progress.


Stay updated on educational trends and partake in ongoing professional development.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:


A relevant degree in Mathematics or a related discipline, along with a valid teaching qualification.


Experience teaching Mathematics at Key Stage 3, with a preference for those familiar with international or UK curricula.


The ability to inspire and motivate students, encouraging confidence and enjoyment in Mathematics.


Strong skills in differentiating instruction for a diverse range of learners.


Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to foster strong relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.


Experience utilizing technology and innovative teaching approaches to enhance the learning experience.


A commitment to ongoing professional development.


A solid understanding of safeguarding and student welfare practices.
