To become part of our team in August 2026, we are seeking a highly qualified and skilled Teacher of Economics and Business with experience in the IB curriculum.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Deliver captivating and effective instruction in IB Business Management and Economics, in alignment with the IB Diploma Programme (IBDP) and other international curricula.

• Design and implement engaging lessons that address diverse learning needs, utilizing contemporary teaching strategies and technology.

• Assess student progress through formative and summative evaluations, upholding high academic standards.

• Provide pastoral support that enhances student well-being and collaborate with the school’s well-being team.

• Promote student participation in extra-curricular activities, business-related initiatives, and community projects.

• Contribute to curriculum development and initiatives aimed at school improvement.

• Foster a positive classroom atmosphere with high standards of behavior and discipline.

• Work collaboratively with colleagues to exchange best practices and support professional development objectives.

• Maintain regular communication with parents and stakeholders regarding student progress.

• Stay updated on educational advancements and engage in continuous professional development.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

• A relevant degree in Business, Economics, or a related discipline, along with a valid teaching qualification.

• Experience in teaching IB Business Management and/or Economics (or comparable international programs).

• The ability to inspire and engage students, cultivating a passion for business and economic thought.

• Strong capabilities in differentiating instruction for varied learners.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster strong connections with students, colleagues, and parents.

• Experience in utilizing technology and innovative teaching methodologies to enhance educational experiences.

• A commitment to ongoing professional development.

• A solid understanding of safeguarding and student welfare practices.

Compensation
