Job Description:
The ideal candidate will engage students with stimulating and challenging English instruction that nurtures critical thinking, analytical skills, and a passion for literature. Responsibilities include crafting lesson plans that meet curriculum standards, evaluating student performance, and enhancing the overall academic growth of students in the secondary school setting.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in English, Education, or a related discipline (minimum requirement)
- A minimum of 2 years of teaching experience at the secondary/high school level
- Preference for candidates with experience in teaching Advanced Placement (AP) courses
- Solid understanding of English curriculum standards and assessment techniques
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities
- Capacity to cultivate a classroom atmosphere that accommodates diverse learners
- Competence in incorporating technology into educational practices
