Creators, a state-of-the-art STEM-focused school, is set to launch in Southern Spain, catering to gifted students. We are in search of an outstanding Physics teacher to become part of our Mathematics, Physics, and Computer Science department. This vital position plays a key role in our commitment to nurturing a culture of creativity, excellence, and entrepreneurial spirit among both students and staff. Physics is a fundamental component of our curriculum, integral to realizing our vision of being a catalyst for the next generation of pioneering leaders and entrepreneurs in science and technology.

About the Role:
At Creators International School, we envision Physics as a stimulating subject that unlocks the mysteries of the universe. Our goal is to equip students with a comprehensive understanding of the universe, its principles, challenges, and sustainable solutions for a better future. By exploring significant physical concepts and conducting experiments, students will cultivate critical thinking abilities, a global outlook, and a profound grasp of the physical world’s complexities.

We are looking for an inspiring Physics teacher who is deeply passionate about fostering innovative learning through research, inquiry, and technology integration. You will motivate and mentor our students in their scientific journey, igniting their enthusiasm for learning while cultivating an engaging and dynamic classroom atmosphere. Additionally, you will encourage creativity and entrepreneurial spirit, empowering our students to become the innovators of tomorrow.

Key Responsibilities

• Contribute as a member of a team of innovative and reflective educators.
• Deliver Physics classes and either Mathematics or IT, exemplifying effective teaching and learning practices.
• Cultivate a love for learning and deepen students’ understanding of Physics.
• Develop and implement a forward-thinking approach to education in these disciplines.
• Create a classroom environment that promotes inquiry and creativity.
• Motivate students to excel in IGCSE and A-Level assessments, international competitions, Olympiads, and scientific research projects.
• Ensure mastery of the subject and excellence in curriculum development.
• Devise strategies to enable talented students to excel in all academic and extracurricular pursuits.
• Engage actively in the school’s co-curricular activities.

Qualifications and Experience:
• Proficiency in both written and spoken English is essential.
• Preferably possess an EU passport or the right to work in Spain.
• Hold a Master’s degree or Doctorate in Physics or a related discipline.
• Have a valid Teaching Qualification - PGCE/BEd or equivalent, with EU recognition preferred.
• Extensive experience in international schools, particularly in teaching British Curriculum Physics, with a proven record of success in competitive international examinations.
• Strong knowledge of and experience in fostering inquiry-based, interdisciplinary, project-based, and research skills, applying them in real-world contexts.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
• Proficient in leveraging technology and digital tools to enhance the learning experience.
• Familiarity with current international standards and best practices in Physics education.
