About This Role
Essential Requirements
1. A minimum of 2 years of recent, successful teaching experience.
2. Graduate qualified teacher.
3. Bachelor's degree in a relevant subject area.
4. Qualified Teacher Status with evidence of relevant continuing professional development.
5. Proven experience working with students in the specific age group you will be teaching.
6. Demonstrated ability to inspire students within an engaging learning environment.
7. Experience in utilizing ICT to enhance the learning process.
Desirable
1. A Master's degree is preferred.
2. Experience in teaching EAL (English as an Additional Language) students.
3. Familiarity with delivering content at IGCSE and A Level.
4. Evidence of setting clear goals and objectives for students that have led to significant improvements in subject achievement.
5. Understanding of positive disciplinary techniques.
6. Knowledge of child development and its effects on behavior.
7. Potential for a Head of Year position for candidates with appropriate experience.
