About This Role
Essential Requirements
1. A minimum of 2 years of recent, successful teaching experience.
2. Graduate qualified teacher status.
3. Bachelor's degree in a relevant subject area.
4. Qualified Teacher Status with evidence of suitable in-service training.
5. Proven experience working with students in the age range applicable to your teaching.
6. Demonstrated capability in inspiring students within a dynamic learning environment.
7. Experience utilizing ICT to enhance the learning process.
Desirable
1. A Master's degree would be advantageous.
2. Experience teaching EAL (English as an Additional Language) students.
3. Background in delivering IGCSE and A Level courses.
4. Evidence of setting clear goals and objectives for students that resulted in notable improvements in their achievements across the subject.
5. Understanding and knowledge of positive disciplinary techniques.
6. Awareness of child development and its effects on behavior.
7. Potential opportunity for Head of Year for candidates with relevant experience.
