Teachers of Economics (Senior School)
About This Role
Hangzhou Dipont School of Arts and Science, in partnership with King's College School, Wimbledon, and RDFZ Beijing, is accepting applications year-round for the role of Economics Teacher (Senior School) to join our esteemed educational institution.
At Hangzhou Dipont School of Arts and Science, our Economics curriculum equips students with the knowledge and skills required to navigate the complexities of today’s world. Our Senior School Economics teachers engage students through vibrant lessons, case studies, and real-life scenarios, helping them analyze societal choices, market dynamics, and the effects of global issues. Through IGCSE and A-Level programs, students develop analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills that prepare them for elite universities and influential careers in business, finance, and beyond.
In the Senior School, students in Grade 9 move to our International Curriculum Centre after fulfilling the mandatory Chinese curriculum requirements. This program is designed to improve English proficiency, setting the stage for CIE A-level courses in Grades 11 and 12. In Grade 11, students are placed in English and mathematics classes appropriate to their skill levels, with Chinese being compulsory for native speakers. Additionally, students can choose five subjects at the ‘AS level’ from science, humanities, and aesthetics before progressing to the study of three to five ‘A2’ subjects, alongside English at the specified level.
