At Nün Academy, we foster collaboration, creativity, and personalised learning—making our community truly one of a kind. We are seeking an exceptional Teacher of General Science (with a Physics specialism) to join our expanding Secondary & Senior School.

What You’ll Do

  • Deliver engaging, high-impact General Science lessons across KS3 and IGCSE, and Physics at IB Diploma level.
  • Design inquiry-rich learning experiences that develop scientific thinking, experimentation, and real-world application.
  • Use formative and summative assessment to inform teaching and provide clear, constructive feedback to students and parents.
  • Collaborate closely within the Science Department to develop curriculum alignment and cross-disciplinary links.
  • Contribute to the wider life of the school, including clubs, enrichment activities, and pastoral support.

About You

  • Bachelor’s degree in Physics Science Education, or a related field.
  • Recognised teaching qualification (PGCE/QTS or international equivalent).
  • Successful experience teaching KS3 and IGCSE Science, and ideally IB DP Physics (or A-Level).
  • Strong subject knowledge, inclusive classroom practice, and confident use of digital learning tools.
  • A reflective practitioner with excellent communication, a collaborative spirit, and a commitment to student wellbeing and safeguarding.
