What You’ll Do
- Deliver engaging, high-impact General Science lessons across KS3 and IGCSE, and Physics at IB Diploma level.
- Design inquiry-rich learning experiences that develop scientific thinking, experimentation, and real-world application.
- Use formative and summative assessment to inform teaching and provide clear, constructive feedback to students and parents.
- Collaborate closely within the Science Department to develop curriculum alignment and cross-disciplinary links.
- Contribute to the wider life of the school, including clubs, enrichment activities, and pastoral support.
About You
- Bachelor’s degree in Physics Science Education, or a related field.
- Recognised teaching qualification (PGCE/QTS or international equivalent).
- Successful experience teaching KS3 and IGCSE Science, and ideally IB DP Physics (or A-Level).
- Strong subject knowledge, inclusive classroom practice, and confident use of digital learning tools.
- A reflective practitioner with excellent communication, a collaborative spirit, and a commitment to student wellbeing and safeguarding.
