Your Responsibilities
• Deliver engaging and effective General Science lessons for KS3 and IGCSE, along with Physics instruction at the IB Diploma level.
• Develop inquiry-driven learning experiences that promote scientific reasoning, experimentation, and real-world application.
• Employ both formative and summative assessments to inform teaching and provide clear, constructive feedback to students and their families.
• Collaborate closely with fellow educators in the Science Department to maintain curriculum alignment and interdisciplinary links.
• Participate actively in the wider school community through clubs, enrichment programs, and pastoral care initiatives.
Your Qualifications
• A Bachelor’s degree in Physics Science Education or a related area.
• A recognized teaching qualification (PGCE/QTS or its international equivalent).
• Demonstrated experience teaching KS3 and IGCSE Science, with a preference for IB DP Physics (or A-Level).
• Strong command of the subject matter, inclusive teaching strategies, and adeptness with digital learning technologies.
• A reflective teaching professional with excellent communication abilities, a collaborative spirit, and a commitment to student wellbeing and safeguarding.
