Due to our ongoing expansion, we are thrilled to announce an opening for the position of Teacher of English, set to begin in August 2026.
The ideal applicant will be instrumental in developing the English Department at Cheltenham Muscat, with the objective of positioning it as the leading English program in the city. This role offers a fantastic chance for a committed educator to enhance Cheltenham Muscat’s standing as a foremost institution in Oman.

The School
Cheltenham Muscat, which welcomed its first students in September 2021, is the first premium British school in Oman for learners aged 3 to 18. Situated on a cutting-edge campus, both students and staff enjoy outstanding facilities that support both academic and extracurricular activities, strengthened by the robust support of our partner, Cheltenham College, which has been delivering high-quality education for over 180 years.
The Person
We are in search of a dedicated educator who is not only enthusiastic about their subject but also motivated to inspire our exceptional students. The successful candidate will hold high expectations for themselves and their students, nurturing a constructive environment and fostering strong relationships within our school community.
Please note that candidates must have at least three full years of relevant teaching experience to be eligible for a work permit in Oman.

- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and oral.

Teaching and Learning
- Provide a comprehensive, balanced, and relevant curriculum.
- Facilitate high-quality learning, enabling students to realize their potential.
- Deliver engaging, well-structured, and creative lessons that cater to the needs of all students.
