About This Role

Our German-English Phorms Campus Berlin Süd is ideally situated in the lush area of Steglitz-Zehlendorf. Here, 700 children and young people come together to learn and grow within our nursery, primary school, and secondary school. Our bilingual approach employs the immersion method throughout all educational stages. The heritage-protected campus features expansive outdoor areas, providing our international and dynamic community with a nurturing and family-oriented environment.

Phorms Berlin Süd is a member of the Phorms Education SE network, which has been enhancing the educational landscape in Germany since 2006.

Starting on 13th August 2026, we are seeking a dedicated and qualified Teacher in Physical Education for our primary school in Berlin Steglitz-Zehlendorf, available for either part-time or full-time positions.

Your Responsibilities:
• Designing relevant and competency-focused sports lessons in alignment with established curricula.
• Instructing students in sport-specific skills while aiding them in enhancing their individual performance levels.
• Fostering a positive, supportive, and inclusive learning atmosphere in the classroom.
• Evaluating student work, including preparing and grading assignments, as well as marking for report cards.
• Employing differentiated teaching methods and materials to accommodate the diverse needs and interests of students.
• Organizing, conducting, and following up on parent-teacher conferences and meetings.
• Actively participating in school events and conferences.

Your Profile:
• Possession of a Master's degree in education, primary education, or a comparable qualification, and/or a PGCE/PGDE.
• Preferably, prior teaching experience in a primary school environment.
• A keen interest in developing and implementing innovative pedagogical concepts that prioritize individualized student development.
• A passion for engaging with our educational philosophy.
• Ability to serve as a role model for students and a genuine enthusiasm for teaching in a primary setting.
