Secondary Music Teacher - August 2025 Start

Arcadia Global School in Dubai is looking to hire a qualified and seasoned Secondary Music Teacher, available to start in August 2025. The ideal candidate will collaborate with experienced colleagues to advance the school’s strategic vision and will possess the capability to teach across all secondary Key Stages.

Requirements:

• A fully qualified teacher with a BEd, MEd, PGCE, QTS, or equivalent credentials.
• At least 2 years of teaching experience within a reputable department.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Confidence in delivering and enhancing the curriculum.
• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
• Exceptional practitioners who can provide innovative lessons grounded in contemporary pedagogical practices and forward-thinking initiatives.
• A collaborative professional who works well within their team and across the broader school community.

Core Responsibilities:

• Utilize a variety of teaching methods to stimulate learning, fulfilling curriculum requirements while ensuring that all students' needs are addressed through scaffolding and objective setting.
• Uphold discipline in line with the school’s policies and encourage best practices concerning punctuality, behavior, and work standards.
• Participate in the development and execution of the subject’s strategic action plan.
• Ensure effective communication with parents regarding students' academic progress, adhering to school reporting protocols and addressing specific concerns as they arise.
• Follow the current policies and procedures established by the school.
• Prepare and refresh subject materials, including schemes of work.
