Secondary ICT Teacher

Al Rabeeh Academy is seeking a passionate and proficient ICT Teacher to join our dynamic and high-performing team starting in August 2026.

As a Secondary ICT Teacher at our international British curriculum school, you will play a crucial role in delivering outstanding teaching and learning experiences across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5, with a focus on GCSE and A-Level ICT/Computer Science where applicable. Your goal will be to engage and motivate students through interactive, hands-on lessons that emphasize skill development, while nurturing strong digital literacy, computational thinking, and problem-solving skills. You will create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that enables all students to reach their full potential.

We are in search of an ICT Teacher who can:

• Deliver engaging, well-structured lessons that meet British curriculum standards, with the ability to teach ICT/Computer Science at least up to GCSE level (A-Level experience preferred).

• Showcase strong digital literacy, computational thinking, and problem-solving skills through innovative, practical, and technology-enhanced teaching methods.

• Utilize various formative and summative assessment strategies to evaluate, track, and support student progress and achievement in ICT.

• Contribute to curriculum planning, departmental growth, and the creation of high-quality, relevant teaching resources.

• Support the academic and pastoral wellbeing of students by promoting the school’s values, routines, and high expectations for learning and behavior.

• Build strong, positive relationships with parents through effective communication about student progress, achievements, and future steps.

• Actively participate in school events, enrichment programs, digital innovation initiatives, professional development, and broader school activities.

Qualifications and Experience:

Candidates must:

• Be fluent in English.

• Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field, along with a PGCE / QTS (or an equivalent teaching qualification).

• Have experience teaching the English National Curriculum, preferably in an international context.

• Demonstrate strong classroom management skills and a commitment to student wellbeing.

• Possess excellent communication, teamwork, and organizational abilities.
