Northview International School (NVIS) is seeking an energetic and student-centered School Counselor to join our growing international team in Doha, Qatar.

We are looking for an educator who is passionate about supporting students' academic, social, and emotional development while fostering resilience, well-being, and a positive atmosphere within the school.

The Role

The successful candidate will work closely with students, families, and faculty to provide support, enhance student well-being, and help students make informed choices about their academic paths and future goals.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Delivering individual and group counseling to support students’ academic, social, and emotional development.
• Assisting students with goal-setting, study techniques, and personal growth.
• Offering guidance in college and career planning.
• Promoting student well-being through social-emotional learning programs.

Qualifications and Experience

• A Bachelor’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related discipline.
• A Master's degree in School Counseling or a similar field is preferred.
• Possession of a recognized counseling qualification or certification.
• Experience as a school counselor in a Middle or High school setting.
• Familiarity with or training in an American curriculum framework.
• A strong dedication to student well-being and holistic development.
• Experience in an international school setting is preferred but not essential.
