Our curriculum adheres to the national framework of England, offering Cambridge and Pearson qualifications in secondary education, including IGCSEs, A Levels, and BTECs.
The main campus at Chaofah serves 1,000 students and is oversubscribed in several year groups. Starting in August 2028, we will enhance our Upper School facilities and programs to establish 'HeadStart College' as the premier educational institution in Southern Thailand.
In August 2023, we launched a new campus in northern Phuket, Cherngtalay. Initially opened as a one-form Foundation and Primary school, the Cherngtalay Campus has now grown to a three-form entry Foundation, Primary, and Secondary school (KS3 only), accommodating up to 500 students.
About the Role
This role is a one-year maternity cover from August 2026 to July 2027.
We are seeking an enthusiastic and inspiring Russian Teacher and Coordinator to join our team in August 2026. This unique opportunity involves leading the school’s Russian program, working alongside dedicated colleagues to inspire students and achieve outstanding results. The successful candidate will teach Russian across Primary age groups, oversee the Russian curriculum, and promote the language and culture through engaging lessons and activities.
Essential Requirements:
•
A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
•
A recognized teaching qualification (BEd, PGCE, iPGCE, or equivalent).
•
Experience in teaching Primary students.
•
Ability to analyze student performance data and implement improvement strategies.
•
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with staff, students, and parents.
•
Fluency in English.
Desirable Attributes:
•
Experience in team leadership.
•
Background in coordinating events, extracurricular activities, or enrichment programs.
•
Prior experience in an international school environment.
•
Familiarity with the UK curriculum and teaching experience within a UK or international school setting.
•
Experience in integrating technology into teaching and learning.
