Position Overview:

We welcome passionate Physical Education educators to express their interest in joining the Dubai American Academy community, with roles available starting August 2026.

This presents an excellent opportunity for High School Physical Education teachers dedicated to nurturing curiosity, inspiring success, and supporting each student’s achievements at DAA.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and interactive PE lessons that align with the school’s curriculum and educational standards.
• Design and implement innovative teaching methods that cultivate a passion for PE and encourage critical thinking.
• Collaborate with colleagues to foster a positive and supportive learning environment.
• Ensure consistent delivery of curriculum content.
• Differentiating instruction to meet the diverse learning needs of students.
• Encourage an inclusive classroom atmosphere that promotes curiosity and exploration.
• Participate in parent-teacher conferences and maintain open communication with parents regarding student progress.

Successful candidates will have:

• A Bachelor of Education degree, or a relevant initial degree accompanied by a teaching qualification such as a PGCE/PGDE/teaching license or Level 5 equivalent specialization in PE.
• Proven experience teaching High School PE, preferably within an American/IB curriculum setting.
• A strong understanding of inquiry-based learning and experiential PE education.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• The capability to build strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
• A commitment to continuously improve their teaching practices and provide exceptional educational experiences for their students.
