ADNOC Schools is in search of an exceptional PE Teacher for our Elementary Campus, with an immediate start date.

Responsibilities:
- Foster a learning environment that encourages outstanding educational practices.
- Establish clear objectives for teaching and learning.
- Design tasks that engage students and maintain high levels of interest.
- Set challenging but achievable expectations for all students.
- Create clear targets that build on previous learning.
- Recognize and meet the needs of SEN and exceptionally able students through tailored instruction.
- Provide structured lessons that maintain momentum, motivation, and challenge.
- Utilize assessment effectively to enhance learning outcomes.
- Analyze performance data to inform lesson planning and deliver differentiated instruction.
- Uphold discipline in line with the school’s ‘Behaviour for Learning Policy’ and promote good practices regarding punctuality, behavior, work standards, and homework.
- Employ diverse teaching strategies to:
i. Align approaches with content, structure information, present key ideas, and use appropriate vocabulary.
ii. Implement effective questioning, actively listen to students, and address errors and misconceptions.
iii. Select suitable learning resources and foster study skills through various mediums including the library and I.C.T.
- Evaluate the achievement of learning objectives and utilize this information to enhance specific teaching aspects.
- Assess and grade student work at least bi-weekly, setting targets for improvement.
- Use performance data to guide planning, ensuring that learning and teaching consistently ‘add value’.
- Systematically assess and record student progress, maintaining records that track understanding and completion, monitor strengths and areas for growth, and inform planning.
- Conduct assessments as required by examination bodies and adhere to departmental and school protocols.
- Prepare and deliver comprehensive reports to parents.
- Engage in subject development by creating, reviewing, and updating curriculum plans and schemes of work.
- Stay current in subject knowledge through continuous professional development and professional reading.
- Attend relevant professional development workshops.
- Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned by the Principal or Vice Principal.
- Deliver lessons that inspire students to achieve their best possible outcomes.
Candidates must be fully qualified teachers with:
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Education.
- A minimum of two years of postgraduate teaching experience.
- A passion for teaching and a commitment to holistic child education.
- Recent and consistent participation in extracurricular activities.
- Respect for all members of the school community.
- Experience working with students for whom English is an additional language.
- A positive, solution-oriented attitude towards work.
- A clean enhanced Disclosure and Barring Services or Police check.
