About This Role
Essential Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a qualified teacher (QTS/PGCE or equivalent)
- Strong understanding of curriculum advancements within the specific phase area
- Knowledge of how Assessment for Learning enhances student achievement
- Capability to operate in a manner that ensures the safety and well-being of children
- Proficient communication and engagement skills with children and their families
- Confidence and experience in teaching children aged 2-5
Desirable
- Teaching experience within an International School
- Ability to challenge and differentiate instruction for students with diverse abilities
- Experience in leading and managing extra-curricular activities
- Willingness to explore and integrate innovative educational practices
- Strong subject knowledge to challenge capable students and drive high outcomes
- Familiarity with positive disciplinary methods
- Understanding of child development and its influence on behavior
