Location: The British School of Nanjing

The role:

As a KS3 SCIENCE TEACHER, your responsibilities will include:
- Initiating programs to enhance student involvement and school spirit.
- Assisting with enrichment activities and school functions.
- Enhancing parental involvement through effective communication and progress reporting.
- Conducting engaging, inclusive, and impactful lessons.
- Encouraging creativity, problem-solving, and design thinking.
- Utilizing data-driven methods to cater to diverse learning requirements.
- Incorporating digital technologies to enrich educational experiences.
- Acting as a Form Tutor and contributing to the A-Level curriculum.
- Creating and executing curriculum-compliant lesson plans.
- Ensuring thorough assessment and prompt feedback.
- Participating in curriculum innovation and quality assurance.
- Committing to ongoing professional development.
- Reflecting on practices to enhance teaching effectiveness.
- Upholding school values and fostering a positive school community.

The Successful Candidate will possess:

- A recognized teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS, or equivalent).
- A current Enhanced Criminal Records Bureau Disclosure from all countries of residence.
- Compliance with visa criteria for employment (holding a bachelor’s degree and at least two years of relevant experience).
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all students, along with a readiness to undertake necessary child protection training.

Compensation

£30,000 - £45,000+ (Regional Equivalent)
