About Ta’allum Group:

The Ta'allum group of schools comprises three well-regarded institutions situated in South West Doha. In response to high demand, plans are underway to establish two additional schools in the area.

Our educational approach aligns with the English National Curriculum, tailored to suit our primarily Qatari student body. Specialist educators deliver Islamic Education, Qatar History, and Arabic, adhering to the directives set forth by local authorities.

We emphasize Quality First Teaching within the Junior School, setting teaching and learning expectations in core subjects such as English, Mathematics, and Science according to UK standards. Our schools are managed by seasoned senior leaders trained in the UK, with a majority of our staff being UK or Western-trained teachers.

We are currently on the lookout for imaginative and dedicated KS2 Primary trained teachers and aspiring school leaders with ECT status to join us starting in April 2025.

Our school fosters a friendly atmosphere, offering support and mentorship for educators new to the international teaching landscape. Many of our Junior School teachers are engaged in MA or NPQ courses, which the school actively supports. As a collective, we are devoted to ongoing school enhancement and hold full accreditation from NEASC.

We utilize UK teaching resources like Read Write Inc, Talk for Writing, and White Rose Maths, enabling experienced UK teachers to seamlessly transition into our classrooms, creating a 'home from home' experience.

Teachers receive a school laptop, benefit from state-of-the-art smartboards in their classrooms, and have access to various paid online teaching resources to assist in their lesson planning and execution.

Class sizes are kept small, averaging 25 students per group, and with a six-class entry system, each teacher enjoys the backing of a supportive network of colleagues within their year group.

Additionally, teachers benefit from a robust IT team, administrative supervisors to facilitate communication with parents, a dedicated SEN department, and qualified student counselors.

Centralized lesson planning is provided, with classroom teachers expected to modify plans to suit their students' needs.

The school prioritizes teacher quality, and only highly skilled and experienced Primary teachers will be considered for interviews.

Paperwork Requirements:
Candidates must provide notarized and attested academic degrees, teaching certificates, transcripts, and marriage and dependent birth certificates (if applicable). Specific requirements will be communicated at the contract stage, along with guidance on obtaining the necessary documents.

The chosen candidate will need to present a criminal records check from the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) prior to employment confirmation. For candidates outside the DBS jurisdiction, an approved certificate from a similar authority in their current country of residence will be necessary.
