About This Role

We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced IT professional to join our Trust IT team and play a key role in delivering a high-quality IT service across our schools.

Working closely with the CIO and IT Operations Manager, you will provide hands-on technical support to staff and students, ensuring our IT systems are secure, reliable and available when they are needed. You will act as an escalation point for the IT helpdesk, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, manage user accounts and cloud-based systems, and support the day-to-day operation of our IT infrastructure.

The role will also involve monitoring cybersecurity, maintaining Microsoft 365, Entra ID and Google Workspace environments, managing IT assets and licences, liaising with suppliers and contractors, and supporting the deployment of new equipment and software.

You will have the opportunity to work across multiple Trust sites, support staff with the effective use of technology, contribute to IT development projects and help ensure technology continues to enhance teaching, learning and the wider work of the Trust.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys solving technical problems, working with people and making a real difference through the effective use of technology in an education environment.

We can offer you:

The full support of an experienced professional team of staff

Well established protocols and systems

Continuing Professional Development and training to support you in your work

Cashback healthcare plan

Employee assistance scheme to include free and confidential advice, information and counselling, 24 hour GP line and discounts at various retail outlets
