We are currently seeking an experienced Islamic Studies Teacher to join our Social Sciences department. This position involves teaching Religion at the High/Secondary School level following the United Kingdom curriculum. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering engaging lessons that promote knowledge of Islamic principles and values while encouraging critical thinking and respect for different perspectives.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Minimum of 4 years teaching experience in Islamic Studies or related subjects
- Strong knowledge of Islamic theology, history, and contemporary issues
- Experience teaching the UK curriculum at secondary school level
- Ability to design lesson plans that meet curriculum standards and cater to diverse learning needs
- Excellent classroom management skills with a focus on creating an inclusive learning environment
- Effective communication skills with students, parents, and colleagues
- Proficiency in using educational technology tools for instruction
