About This Role
Arcadia Global School in Dubai is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Inclusion Teacher to join our team immediately. The ideal candidate will collaborate with the school's Inclusion team to provide essential support for primary school students, enhancing their overall school experience.
Arcadia Global School Al Furjan is a newly established, high-quality British curriculum institution. Our goal is to become the foremost inclusive school for parents in the Al Furjan community and beyond, where every student can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
Requirements:
- A minimum of a Bachelor's degree is essential.
- Candidates must be fully qualified teachers with a BEd, MEd, PGCE, QTS, or an equivalent qualification.
- At least 3 years of experience as an inclusion teacher, SENCO, or in a related role focused on specialist student support is required.
- A SENCO or a related specialist teaching qualification supporting students with additional needs, demonstrating a successful track record in performance outcomes.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills are crucial.
- Knowledge of British educational standards and regulations pertaining to inclusion is necessary.
- A commitment to elevating educational standards in alignment with the school's vision, mission, and values.
- A collaborative professional who works effectively within their immediate team and across the broader school community.
- A strong advocate for inclusive practices, passionate about enhancing opportunities for all learners.

- Assess and evaluate the effectiveness of inclusion programs and strategies.
- Ensure that the curriculum is delivered in an engaging and challenging manner, tailored to meet the needs of individual students.
- Work alongside colleagues, parents, and external partners to foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
- Assist teachers in developing individual goals for students, including support with planning.
- Familiarize oneself with and work towards the goals outlined in the child’s IEP.
- Maintain confidentiality and discretion regarding individual student needs.
- Communicate professionally and respectfully at all times with students, families, outside agencies, and all staff members.
- Experience in working with students with varied learning needs is essential.
- A genuine dedication to inclusion and a commitment to fostering an inclusive culture within the school.
- Strong understanding of inclusive education practices and principles.
