ROLE SUMMARY:
St. Peter’s International School, located in Palmela near Lisbon, serves around 1,500 students from 4 months to 18 years on a modern 37,000 m² campus. We are seeking a committed and highly qualified IB Business and Economics Teacher to deliver the IB Business Management and Economics curricula starting in August for the next academic year. This position offers an exciting opportunity for an educator passionate about inspiring students, promoting critical thinking, and nurturing a love for learning.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Create and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons that cater to the needs of diverse learners.
• Employ innovative teaching methods, including inquiry-based learning and digital tools.
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Engage in curriculum development and integrate technology to enrich learning experiences.
• Foster a respectful and inclusive classroom atmosphere while supporting student well-being.
• Collaborate with colleagues and participate in school events and extracurricular activities.
• Pursue ongoing professional development and comply with safeguarding policies.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:
• A degree in Business, Economics, Education, or a related field (a teaching qualification is preferred).
• Experience teaching IB Business Management and/or Economics (or similar international curricula).
• A strong enthusiasm for inspiring students and promoting both their academic and personal growth.
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and organizational skills.
• Experience in an international or multicultural environment (preferred).
• Proficient English language skills and a dedication to student welfare.
