About This Role
Dubai International Academy, Al Barsha is seeking an enthusiastic Head of Department and IB-MYP Design Technology and Product Design Teacher to join our team in August 2026.
We highly value candidates with previous experience in international schools, especially those who have taught IB-MYP Design Technology and Product Design, along with another science subject.
Our school offers a rigorous curriculum and a varied language program within an international context, built on the respected three programs of the International Baccalaureate based in Geneva: Primary Years Programme (IB-PYP), Middle Years Programme (IB-MYP), and Diploma Programme (IB-DP).
REQUIREMENTS:
- Experience with IB-MYP, IB-DP, or other outcome-based educational frameworks is preferred.
- Experienced educators with a track record of success may be considered for leadership roles.
- Candidates should hold a Bachelor's Degree in Design Technology and possess a recognized teaching qualification.
- Preference will be given to applicants with a Master’s Degree or higher.
- Knowledge of assessment for learning is a plus.
- Strong communication and technology skills are required.
