High School English Teacher

The ideal candidate will meet the following criteria:

• A valid Manitoba Teacher's Certificate or the ability to qualify for teacher certification in the Province of Manitoba.
• Preference will be given to those who have a Major in English studies.
• Demonstrated expertise in teaching Language Arts.
• Prior experience in a high school teaching position is preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
• Outstanding classroom management skills.
• Experience in differentiated instruction to meet the varied needs of all students.
• Proficient in working alongside other educators in a consultative manner.
• Commitment to culturally responsive educational practices.
• Understanding and respect for the traditions and backgrounds of students with diverse abilities.
• Ability to create a program that incorporates a northern perspective.
