Position Overview:
- Dedicated to deepening students' understanding of the integration of information technology into their academic experiences.
- Strong knowledge of both fundamental and advanced information technology concepts.
- Create, develop, and compile a thorough information technology curriculum that guarantees high-quality teaching.
- Utilize a variety of technological and educational tools in an engaging way to meet the demands of today's classroom, supported by innovative classroom management techniques.
- Provide exceptional instruction while implementing a teaching program that fosters higher-order thinking skills progressively.
- Introduce primary students to foundational information technology concepts while offering upper-level students exposure to more intricate programming and skills.
- Stay updated with the latest technology trends to ensure students receive current knowledge appropriate for their levels.
- Assess students' learning capabilities through effective engagement methods.
- Execute essential daily responsibilities, including lesson planning, coursework, projects, and student assessments.
- Maintain ongoing communication with parents and guardians about each student's progress and development.
- Instruct students on the correct use, care, and safe handling of equipment.
General Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or a Bachelor’s degree in any field along with a Postgraduate Certificate/Diploma in Education (PGCE/PGDE).
- Familiarity with the MYP and key elements of the curriculum frameworks is advantageous.
- Newly qualified teachers or those with teaching experience at a recognized educational institution.

IMPORTANT NOTE: The iPGCE (assessment only) does not satisfy the Teacher Registration status criteria from the Hong Kong Education Bureau, which is necessary for teaching at an ESF school.
