About This Role

We are seeking an exceptional Executive Assistant to become a part of our vibrant and ambitious team at GEMS Jumeirah Primary School in Dubai. This is a distinctive opportunity for a dedicated and highly skilled assistant to make a meaningful impact at a school celebrated for its inclusive and outstanding educational offerings, helping every child to flourish.

The Executive Assistant to the Principal will oversee all assistant and administrative tasks as instructed by the Principal and will play a vital role in supporting the school and the Senior Leadership Team (SLT).

Key Responsibilities:

- Uphold and promote the ethos and standards of excellence as outlined in the GEMS Core Values.
- Ensure high-quality communication from and within the school office, engaging with school staff, parents, and representatives from the GEMS SSC with tact and diplomacy.
- Provide top-level administrative support to the Principal and the broader Senior Leadership Team, facilitating effective coordination and communication throughout the school.
- Manage the Principal's calendars, appointments, correspondence, and documentation, ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and timely follow-ups.
- Maintain effective communication channels, engaging diplomatically with staff, parents, students, and GEMS SSC representatives.
- Gather information from various sources to create reports; prepare, compile, and distribute weekly, monthly, and annual reports as needed.
- Organize and coordinate office management tasks and oversee school events in collaboration with the Parent Relations Executive.
- Collaborate with various departments and key staff to ensure consistency in administrative practices and adherence to school policies and procedures.
- Ensure that GEMS policies, procedures, and codes of conduct are consistently upheld.
- Demonstrate initiative and commitment beyond the regular workday when required by tasks.
- Participate in staff meetings and serve on committees as needed.
- Carry out other duties as assigned by the Principal.

Compensation

£30,000 - £45,000+ (Regional Equivalent)
*Estimated range based on regional data averages.
