Erudito Licėjus is an international educational establishment in Lithuania offering the IB PYP, IB DP, and Cambridge International Education programs. The school is currently seeking authorization for the IB Middle Years Programme (MYP) as it aspires to create a comprehensive IB continuum.
We are looking for a dedicated and talented English Teacher to join our secondary school team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in delivering English Language and Literature education within the IB MYP, Cambridge, and/or IBDP frameworks, while also supporting the development and implementation of the school's MYP initiative.
Position details:
- Title: English Teacher
- Department: English and Literature
- Educational level: Middle School and/or IBDP
- Curriculum focus: Cambridge, with an increasing emphasis on the IB MYP framework. Possible involvement with IBDP as well.
- Employment type: Full-time
Key responsibilities:
- Create and deliver inquiry-based English lessons that align with IB MYP principles
- Support the growth and implementation of the MYP
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
- Participate in interdisciplinary learning and curriculum development
- Promote students’ academic and social-emotional growth
Qualifications and skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, English, Literature, or a related field
- A minimum of 3 years of teaching experience, preferably in an international setting
- Strong knowledge of IB MYP/DP frameworks is highly preferred
- Excellent command of English and effective classroom management abilities
