About AAESS:

Role Overview:

We are seeking a passionate, knowledgeable, and inspiring educator to join our collaborative and supportive department.

The ideal candidate will design engaging, innovative, and high-quality lessons that ignite curiosity and foster a love for inquiry within the sciences. We are looking for a vibrant teacher who can elevate students’ analytical skills, practical abilities, and conceptual understanding across various scientific fields.

The successful candidate will:

  • Deliver engaging practical lessons that stimulate inquiry and critical thinking.
  • Thoroughly prepare students for GCSE/iGCSE and A Level assessments.
  • Contribute positively to curriculum development and enrichment activities.
  • Uphold high standards for achievement and behavior.
  • Collaborate effectively within a robust and supportive Science team.
  • Commit to continuous professional development.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in English or a related discipline.
  • A recognized teaching qualification (PGCE, B.Ed. or equivalent).
  • Experience teaching the British Curriculum.
  • Experience with GCSE/iGCSE instruction.
  • A commitment to raising standards and inspiring students.
