Job Description:

As the Head of the Social Sciences Department, you will lead and support the Economics teaching team while delivering engaging lessons aligned with the Cambridge A Level curriculum. Your duties will encompass curriculum design, staff mentoring, evaluating student performance, and fostering a positive educational environment that promotes academic success.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Economics or a related field (minimum requirement)
• At least 5 years of teaching experience in secondary/high school settings
• Proven expertise in teaching the Cambridge A Level Economics curriculum
• Strong leadership qualities, with experience in team management or coordination preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to develop innovative lesson plans that engage a diverse array of learners
• Proficient in utilizing educational technology for both teaching and assessment
