D&T/Food Technology Lab Technician – August 2025 start

Arcadia Global School Al Furjan is on the lookout for a skilled and proactive Lab Technician to join the Digital and Technology departments, starting in August 2025. The successful applicant will play a crucial role in facilitating the smooth running of practical lessons by organizing materials, maintaining equipment, and ensuring a safe and effective learning atmosphere for students.

Requirements:

- A Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Design & Technology, Food Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Prior experience in a school laboratory or food technology environment is desirable.
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations, especially in workshop and kitchen settings.
- Capability to work both independently and collaboratively with educators and students.
- A minimum of three years’ experience in a British international school or a comparable educational context.

- Prepare and set up equipment, tools, and materials for D&T and Food Technology practical sessions.
- Support teachers and students during practical classes, ensuring the safe and effective use of tools and equipment.
- Manage inventory levels, place orders for supplies, and ensure proper storage of all materials.
- Implement and uphold health and safety protocols, ensuring a secure learning environment for both staff and students.
- Consistently exemplify, model, and advocate for the AGS Values.
