QUEST Academy Trust invites you to join our expanding team at University Collegiate School (UCS), Bolton, where you will inspire pupils from Key Stage 3 through to A Level and BTEC. About the Role

As a Teacher of Design Technology and Engineering at UCS, you will:

Deliver a range of Technology subjects at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, Design Technology, Engineering, Food, 3D Design, Art and Photography. Teach KS5 BTEC Engineering.

Inspire pupils through creative and practical lessons that develop critical thinking and real-world skills in our state-of-the-art workshops, computer suites, and food rooms.

Play a key role in shaping the department’s strategic vision, curriculum development, and enrichment activities.

Foster a culture of high expectations, excellent behaviour, and academic achievement.

Collaborate with colleagues across the Trust and engage with parents and external partners to enhance pupil progress and opportunities.

Support the Trust’s specialism in Engineering and facilitate employer engagement to prepare pupils for future careers.

Contribute as a Form Tutor, supporting pupils’ personal development, wellbeing, and life skills.You will join a team committed to innovation and continuous improvement, with opportunities to develop your professional skills through tailored training, mentoring, and leadership pathways.
