About This Role

We are excited to invite applications for the position of Deputy Head of Primary to join our Senior Leadership Team. This is a remarkable opportunity for an innovative and proactive leader to significantly influence the trajectory of our high-achieving school. The ideal candidate will serve as the second-in-command to the Head of Primary, taking a pivotal role in promoting excellence in teaching and learning, curriculum advancement, and the professional development of staff. You will collaborate closely with the Head of Primary, Vice Principal, and the broader leadership team to actualize the school’s educational objectives and uphold the highest standards of student success.

Key Responsibilities
• Assist and stand in for the Head of Primary as necessary
• Spearhead the enhancement and execution of exceptional teaching and learning throughout the Primary phase
• Propel curriculum innovation and oversee effective curriculum delivery
• Contribute to the school’s strategic direction as an integral member of the Senior Leadership Team
• Cultivate and integrate globally relevant teaching methodologies in line with the school's vision and GEMS standards
• Assess and evaluate teaching through lesson observations, offering constructive feedback to bolster performance
• Lead initiatives for staff professional development while prioritizing school improvement goals
• Set clear learning outcomes and benchmarks to elevate student achievement
• Ensure consistent implementation of all policies, procedures, and standards
• Participate in the broader school community, including co-curricular activities and events

Compensation

£30,000 - £45,000+ (Regional Equivalent)
