CBSE/ ICSE/ IB Teachers - Appointments for April 2025 across the UAE

Qualifications:

KG/Primary/Secondary:

• A Bachelor's degree in Arts or Science paired with a Bachelor's in Education, both in the same teaching subject. For example, BA + B.Ed or B.Sc + B.Ed. (Degrees should not be obtained through distance learning, correspondence, or from an open university.)

Senior Secondary:

• A Bachelor's and Master's degree in Arts or Science alongside a Bachelor's in Education, with all degrees in the same teaching subject. For example, BA & MA + B.Ed or B.Sc & M.Sc + B.Ed. (Degrees must not be acquired through distance learning, correspondence, or from an open university.) Teachers specializing in subjects such as Dance, Music, Special Education Needs, Art, French, etc., will need a specific qualification in their subject area. A minimum of 2 years of teaching experience is required for all positions listed above.

KG (Sharjah only):

• A Bachelor's degree in Arts along with a 2-year Montessori qualification or 2 years in Early Childhood Care and Education. For example, BA + ECCE (2 yrs) or BA + B.Ed. (Degrees must not be obtained through distance learning, correspondence, or from an open university.)
