About the Programme:
The Vinschool Advanced (Cambridge) Programme is a comprehensive bilingual initiative that blends the Vinschool Education System, the Vietnamese national curriculum, and the Cambridge International Programmes.
What We Are Looking For:
Vinschool seeks dynamic, experienced, and professionally certified teachers to join our international teaching team. The successful applicants will teach the Cambridge Business and Economics Programme, following the relevant Cambridge International Curriculum Framework. Candidates should possess the required qualifications and experience, demonstrating a strong commitment to supporting students academically and in extracurricular activities.
Key Responsibilities (including, but not limited to):
- Deliver engaging, high-quality instruction that aligns with the Cambridge International Curriculum framework.
- Create curriculum, lesson plans, and teaching resources; manage and update information on the LMS.
- Adapt teaching strategies and materials to meet the diverse needs and learning styles of students.
- Assess and monitor student academic progress; provide timely feedback and support.
- Keep accurate and organized student academic records, including prompt updates of test results in the school’s systems and the preparation of progress reports.
- Establish and maintain classroom expectations; oversee student behavior and social development.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and guardians regarding student progress and any concerns.
- Design and implement remedial programs for students requiring additional support.
- Participate in faculty meetings, professional development, and school events.
- Plan and engage in extracurricular activities such as clubs and academic competitions.
- Supervise students during non-classroom times, including hall duty, morning gate duty, and other supervisory duties assigned by the Principal or Vice Principal.
- While the primary teaching responsibility will focus on the teacher’s designated subject, they may also be assigned a second subject within their area of expertise to support the school's program.
- Fulfill homeroom teacher responsibilities as assigned, including monitoring attendance, providing pastoral care, and communicating with parents; an allowance is provided for this role.
- Perform additional professional duties as assigned by the Principal, Vice Principal, or Lead Teacher.
Qualifications:
- A degree in a relevant field of education.
- A professional teaching qualification/license/certification as applicable.
- Candidates with a Master's degree will be preferred.
Experience:
- A minimum of 2 years of professional teaching experience (gained after obtaining a teaching qualification) in a formal school environment.
- Experience with the Cambridge International Curriculum is preferred but not required.
Language Proficiency:
- Fluent in English (minimum C1 proficiency).
Soft Skills and Attributes:
- Strong presentation, communication, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Competencies in classroom management.
