The ideal candidate should have:

• A Bachelor of Education or a degree in a relevant field, along with a PGCE, PGDE, or an equivalent teaching qualification
• Proven experience teaching Business and Economics at the secondary level, including IGCSE and A Level or similar qualifications
• Prior experience as a Head of Department or the willingness to step into a leadership position within the department
• A strong track record of exceptional classroom practice and the ability to model and share effective strategies across the department
• The skills to lead curriculum development, assessment, and improvement initiatives based on data analysis
• A dedicated commitment to enhancing student achievement and standards in Business and Economics
• An interest in leadership growth, professional development, and sustainability in education
• A creative, enthusiastic, and student-centered approach both inside and outside the classroom
• Proficient IT, organizational, and interpersonal skills, facilitating effective collaboration with students, parents, and fellow educators
