Job Description
Design, prepare, and deliver lessons tailored to the appropriate age group that align with the school's curriculum. Cultivate a positive classroom environment that emphasizes student engagement, motivation, and active participation in learning. Evaluate and track student progress through both formative and summative assessments. Keep accurate records of attendance, assessments, and academic performance. Create and apply innovative teaching methods and activities to address the varied learning needs of students. Set clear expectations for classroom behavior and routines. Maintain regular communication with parents and guardians regarding student growth and well-being. Work collaboratively with fellow teachers and support staff to promote a comprehensive approach to student development. Contribute to the planning and organization of school events and activities (such as inter-house competitions, concerts, school plays, and prize days). Ensure the safety and well-being of all students at all times. Adhere to GEMS policies, procedures, and codes of conduct consistently.
Skills
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills. Strong background in art. Creativity and imagination. Excellent classroom management capabilities. Ability to foster positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues. Familiarity with current innovations and technological requirements.
Qualification:
A minimum of a bachelor's degree in Art. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. A proven teaching track record of at least 3 years.
