About This Role

Position Overview:

Recognizing that the staff at Bromsgrove School Mission Hills (BMH) represent the school's greatest asset, we are excited to invite applications for an exceptional Pre School Teacher. Starting in August 2026, this role requires building meaningful connections with students, delivering our vibrant play-based curriculum, and collaborating with a team of experienced Early Childhood Educators from around the globe to foster an engaging learning environment and achieve outstanding student outcomes.

BMH, in partnership with Bromsgrove School in England, is a forward-thinking bilingual institution that implements a blended, inquiry-based curriculum, integrating elements of both Chinese and Western educational philosophies. The ideal candidate will be encouraged to approach curriculum development and execution creatively, support the cognitive and social advantages of bilingualism, and embrace a respectful and open-minded attitude toward multiculturalism in our Chinese context.

Qualifications


1. A university degree (BA/B.Sc) or an equivalent qualification;

2. Teaching qualifications (B.Ed/M.Ed/PGCE/QTS) or equivalent;

3. A minimum of 2 years of relevant teaching experience;

4. Proficiency in English;

5. A demonstrated understanding of early childhood frameworks such as the Canadian educational system, PYP, EYFS, and Reggio Emilia (preferred);

6. A positive, nurturing, and collaborative team player with a passion for early childhood education (required).

In this role, you will exhibit essential professional attributes and specifically will:

1. Create engaging and outstanding play-based learning environments;

2. Establish strong routines for young children to enhance their sense of belonging and well-being;

3. Provide all children in your care with respect, equity, and opportunities;

4. Actively engage in parent communication and facilitate opportunities for parental involvement in learning;

5. Document learning to recognize children's achievements, celebrate successes, and plan subsequent steps;

6. Initiate, innovate, and inspire;

7. Collaboratively plan, assess, and deliver the BMH Pre School Curriculum to your class;

8. Design engaging and developmentally suitable Inquiry Units within our established Programme of Inquiry;

9. Facilitate regular language learning opportunities through diverse strategies, including Read-alouds, Guided Reading, Role Play, writing tasks, and daily reflection activities;

10. Establish meaningful connections between various curriculum areas within each Inquiry Unit to ensure learning is relevant, engaging, and interconnected for our young learners.
