Al Ain English Speaking School (AAESS) is on the lookout for a passionate and committed Biology Teacher who is also adept at teaching Physics and Chemistry up to KS4. This position is set to commence in August 2026.

About AAESS:
Al Ain English Speaking School holds the distinction of being one of the oldest educational institutions in Al Ain, with a reputation that extends beyond the local area. Nestled in the ‘Garden City’, known for its lushness amidst the desert, AAESS is a comprehensive school serving over 2200 students aged 3 to 19, and is continually expanding. Role Overview:
We are in search of an enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and inspirational Science teacher to become a part of our supportive and collaborative department.
The ideal candidate will provide engaging, innovative, and high-quality Science lessons that spark curiosity and a passion for scientific inquiry. We seek a dynamic educator capable of enhancing students’ analytical thinking, practical skills, and conceptual understanding across the Sciences.
The successful applicant will:

Instruct Biology across Key Stages 3–5
•
Teach Physics and Chemistry confidently up to Key Stage 4
•
Conduct engaging practical lessons that foster inquiry and critical thinking
•
Effectively prepare students for GCSE/iGCSE and A Level examinations
•
Positively contribute to curriculum development and enrichment activities
•
Uphold high expectations for achievement and behavior
•
Collaborate within a strong and supportive Science team
•
Commit to continuous professional development
The successful candidate will possess:
•
A Bachelor’s degree in Biology or a related Science field
•
A recognized teaching qualification (PGCE, B.Ed., or equivalent)
•
Experience teaching the British Curriculum
•
Strong subject knowledge across the Sciences at KS3 and KS4
•
Experience with GCSE/iGCSE (A Level Biology is a plus)
•
