NORD ANGLIA INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL, HONG KONG is seeking an EARLY YEARS TEACHER to join our Early Years Foundation Studies (EYFS) team, dedicated to fostering exceptional teaching and learning within the EYFS framework.

The role:

• As a qualified Early Years Teacher, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Building trust and confidence among children, colleagues, and parents;

• Motivating and engaging students;

• Continuously working to enhance the quality of student learning;

• Utilizing pupil tracking and monitoring methods to improve student achievement and refine professional practice in alignment with the school’s commitments;

• Contributing to the school's improvement/development plan and advocating for learning priorities, including departmental enhancement strategies;

• Upholding the broader aspirations and values of the school;

• Participating in professional development to ensure evolving teaching practices;

• Involvement in Extra-Curricular Activities;

• Undertaking Pastoral Duties.

The Successful Candidate will have:

• A recognized teaching qualification, such as a Bachelor of Education or an equivalent degree relevant to Early Years Foundation Studies (EYFS) (e.g., PGCE, HDipEd);

• Qualified Teacher Status;

• Experience or qualifications in EYFS or a related field;

• A minimum of 2 years of teaching experience;

• A solid understanding of the EYFS framework, the English National Curriculum, and associated subject knowledge and pedagogy;

• A comprehensive grasp of how children learn within the EYFS and its impact on child development;

• Capability to deliver a broad, balanced, relevant, and creative EYFS curriculum;

• Proof of continuous professional development related to teaching;

• Familiarity with assessment and reporting processes to facilitate effective intervention;

• Experience with data monitoring and evaluation;

• Background in utilizing technology for teaching in virtual or hybrid settings;

• Ability to integrate technology into the classroom to enhance student learning;

• Knowledge of pastoral monitoring and tracking systems;

• Experience with transition processes;

• Effective communication skills for liaising with colleagues and parents;

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in planning;

• A current Enhanced Criminal Records Bureau Disclosure for all countries of residence;

• Compliance with visa regulations for employment;

• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all children, along with a willingness to undergo relevant child protection training as needed.
