About This Role
We invite applications from exceptional and motivated Teachers of Physics who adopt innovative teaching practices and can instruct at the IB Diploma level. This position is designed for an experienced educator who can effectively cater to the diverse needs of students, fostering confidence and enhancing learning in every session.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver lessons across various age groups and abilities, tailoring instruction to meet the unique needs of each student.
- Engage in the broader school community by participating in sporting events, extracurricular activities, and other enrichment programs.
- Pursue professional growth and development actively.
- Demonstrate a strong commitment to the safeguarding of all young people.
- Handle any subject-related administrative tasks as needed and take part in departmental meetings.
- Adhere to the school’s assessment and reporting protocols, and attend parent meetings as necessary.

- You are an educator committed to ongoing improvement and exemplify the qualities of the IB Learner Profile.
- You hold a good honours degree and/or an advanced degree in a relevant subject area.
- You are dedicated to the principles of equality, diversity, and inclusion.
- You have a genuine passion for your subject and the ability to inspire others.
- You are open to new developments and innovations in teaching and learning, eager to try out fresh approaches.
- You possess considerable experience supervising students in the MYP Personal Project and the IBDP Extended Essay.
- You have strong written and verbal communication abilities.
