About This Role
We invite applications from exceptional and driven Teachers of Science who are committed to innovative teaching practices and can instruct their area of expertise (Biology/Chemistry/Physics) up to IB Diploma standards. This position is designed for a seasoned educator who can cater to students of varying abilities, fostering confidence and enhancing learning in every session. While the primary focus is on MYP Science instruction, the chosen candidate may also have the opportunity to teach IGCSE Science (Biology/Chemistry/Physics) and support High School Diploma students (ages 16-18) in Mathematics.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver lessons across different age groups and ability levels, tailoring them to meet individual student needs.
- Engage in the broader school community by participating in sporting events, extracurricular activities, and other enrichment programs.
- Pursue ongoing professional development and growth in teaching practices.
- Demonstrate a strong commitment to safeguarding all students.
- Manage subject-related administrative tasks and take part in departmental meetings.
- Adhere to the school’s assessment and reporting protocols and participate in parent meetings as necessary.

- Hold a good honours degree and/or a further qualification in a relevant subject area.
- Value and uphold the principles of equality, diversity, and inclusion.
- Have a passion for your subject and the ability to inspire students.
- Stay abreast of teaching advancements and innovations, willing to explore new methodologies.
- Possess substantial experience supervising students working on the MYP Personal Project and the IBDP Extended Essay.
- Exhibit excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
