Kindergarten Teacher
About This Role
1. Serve as the kindergarten homeroom teacher, remaining with students throughout the entire school day as needed.
2. Collaborate with the Chinese homeroom teacher to develop the semester work plan in alignment with the school's teaching schedule.
3. Instruct required subjects for the kindergarten homeroom, including English, Math, Science, and more.
4. Deliver a comprehensive, balanced, relevant, and differentiated curriculum for students, while supporting designated curriculum areas as needed.
5. Engage actively in the curriculum writing process.
6. Work alongside the Chinese homeroom teacher to create kindergarten decorations that reflect the monthly themes.
7. Participate in various aspects of school life related to the subject, including organizing relevant field trips and educational excursions.
8. Assist the department in creating Schemes of Work, as well as in developing and implementing departmental development plans.
9. Contribute fully to the vibrant life of the school and the operations of this international institution.
10. Oversee the classroom environment, promote the integration of ICT in lessons, and track student work and assessment grades while maintaining records of student achievements.
11. Take timely intervention measures when assessment and report grades indicate concerns about a student's progress in your class.
12. Collaborate and support fellow department members collegially.
13. Prepare reports and enter assessment grades as necessary.
14. Show interest in all students within the classes and assist the department in maintaining current student class lists when requested.
15. Collaborate with administrative support staff as appropriate.
16. Aid the department in analyzing examination results when needed and actively seek out and share teaching resources with colleagues.
17. Attend parent meetings and other school functions as instructed by management.
18. Conduct teaching and research activities on a weekly basis.
19. Actively participate in school-organized field trips.
20. Offer at least one extracurricular activity to students, demonstrating a commitment to holistic education for everyone.
21. Assist with any additional responsibilities, tasks, or jobs that management may reasonably request.
