Candidates applying for this position should:
• Have recent experience teaching physics at IGCSE and A level or equivalent, along with KS 3 science, in the UK or an international setting.
• Hold an Honours Degree in Physics or a closely related discipline.
• Possess UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent qualification.
• Demonstrate a successful history of improving standards of achievement in science.
• Show a commitment to curriculum development and innovation.
• Be an exceptional educator.
• Be well-organized and foster a stimulating educational atmosphere.
• Exhibit enthusiasm and maintain a positive attitude when supporting students.
• Be a reflective educator, consistently seeking to enhance their teaching effectiveness.
• Adhere to school policies consistently.
• Have a genuine interest in the personal growth of students.
• Possess experience as an effective form tutor (or in a similar role).
• Be willing to engage in and contribute to the school’s extracurricular activities.
