About This Role

GEMS Al Barsha National School is on the lookout for an exceptional and dedicated Physics Teacher to join our committed team in August 2026. As an English Teacher at GEMS Al Barsha National School, you will provide stimulating and thought-provoking lessons that cultivate a profound appreciation for the English language and literature. You will assist students in honing their reading, writing, and analytical abilities, ensuring that all learners achieve their maximum academic potential. Outside the classroom, you will actively engage with the broader school community by participating in co-curricular activities, school events, and continuous curriculum enhancement.

Key Responsibilities:

· Design, prepare, and deliver exceptional Physics lessons that motivate and captivate students of varying abilities.

· Encourage a passion for reading, writing, and communication through innovative and meaningful learning experiences.

· Evaluate, document, and report on student progress, utilizing data to guide planning and differentiation.

· Create an inclusive classroom atmosphere that supports every learner and promotes academic excellence.

· Collaborate with colleagues to craft innovative curricula and exchange best practices.

· Maintain effective communication with parents to provide regular updates on student progress and achievements.

· Attend departmental meetings, engage in professional development, and participate in co-curricular initiatives.

· Consistently embody GEMS Education’s Core Values and the principles of Al Barsha National School.

· Contribute to the broader school community through events, performances, and enrichment opportunities.

Qualifications & Knowledge

· Bachelor’s Degree in Physics or a closely related discipline, along with a recognized teaching qualification/license (PGCE, QTS, or equivalent).

· Proficiency in ICT and digital tools to enhance the teaching and learning experience.

· Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, capable of fostering positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.

Experience

· At least two years of teaching experience in English, preferably within the National Curriculum for England.

· Experience in an international or culturally diverse environment is a plus.
