Situated in the heart of Ras Al Khaimah city, RAK Academy – Khuzam is a comprehensive all-through school catering to students from Pre-K to Grade 12. The primary phase follows an adapted UK National Curriculum in conjunction with the IB Primary Years Programme (IBPYP), while the secondary phase adopts a dual-pathway model featuring both the UK curriculum and the International Baccalaureate in the Sixth Form. We are accredited by British Schools Overseas (BSO), benchmarked against top-tier international British schools, and are fully equipped to deliver the ECT induction for teachers.
The Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic, driven, and inspirational Primary Islamic A Teacher to join our dedicated team.
Essential Qualifications
• A bachelor’s degree in Islamic studies or a related field.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Familiarity with the Ministry of Education curriculum for Islamic A.
• Experience teaching Arabic across all primary key stages.
• A proven history of excellent classroom and pedagogical practices.
• Must possess training in the British/IB curriculum.
• Ability to engage, motivate, and support students, staff, and parents.
• A reflective practitioner who can think creatively and innovate.
• A positive and enthusiastic team member.
• Willingness to participate fully in extra-curricular activities.
• A firm commitment to the principle that all complex decisions should prioritize best practices for students.
• Familiarity with using Google Suite, including Google Classroom.
