Art Teacher - Visual Arts
About This Role
Institut auf dem Rosenberg is seeking outstanding Visual Arts educators with experience in IB, AP, and/or A-Level programs to join its esteemed Art Department. The ideal candidate will have a background in supporting or coordinating within an art department and will be proficient in teaching a variety of visual arts disciplines, such as drawing, painting, photography, architecture, graphic design, and other related creative areas. This role calls for an educator capable of inspiring intellectually driven international students, fostering creativity, intellectual curiosity, and adaptability in the classroom.

Possess strong skills in digital creative tools and workflows, particularly Adobe Creative Cloud.

Have prior experience preparing students for exhibitions, portfolios, or international competitions.

Show a dedication to continuously evolving their artistic and teaching practices, with a willingness to expand their expertise into other creative fields.
•
Contribute to the development and execution of the Rosenberg International Curriculum®.
•
Actively engage with the school’s Talent & Enrichment program and contribute to the broader academic community.
•
Demonstrate the ability to lead initiatives independently while collaborating effectively within a high-achieving department.
Requirements - ideal applicants will possess:
•
An appropriate degree along with a PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification.
•
Relevant teaching experience in secondary or international school settings.
•
The capability to teach across International GCSE, A-Level, IB Diploma, and AP/US High School Diploma programs.
•
A proven history of guiding students to exceptional outcomes in external examinations.
•
A strong commitment to the values, ethos, and ongoing development of Institut auf dem Rosenberg.
